Jessica Livingston, an All-American lacrosse player at Sweet Briar College (VA), will be directing GameBreaker’s Northern Arizona University Camp. She was named 1st team all-conference and captain of her team in her sophomore year and was later selected to play for the IFWLA Virginia and South teams.
She is currently the Head Coach of Chaparral High School, Head Coach and player of the Arizona Storm (post-collegiate team), and Founder of Desert StiX since 2001, Arizona’s first youth league for girls. She has received considerable recognition for her coaching and leadership abilities including being named 2005 and 2006 AGLA Coach of the Year. In 2007 she also received two prestigious awards, 2006-2007 PWSA (Phoenix Women and Sports Association) Community Leader of the Year Award and 2007 YWCA Sports Leader Award.
Tyna Murphy will be the Camp Assistant Director. Tyna played at Arizona State University where she was team captain and a 1st Team all star for the WWLL her junior and senior year. She then continued as Head Coach of the Sun Devils for 5 years. During her time with the Sun Devils the team made their first appear in the US Lacrosse WDIA National Championship Tournament where they received the Team Sportsmanship award. The past 11 years she has been on the fields as an official and is the current Officials Local Board Chair. Tyna is also a Desert Stix coach and professionally, a Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach/ Personal Trainer.
