GameBreaker is pleased to announce Marin Catholic HS Head Coach Whitney Hanley as Director of this year’s MLK Girls’ Camp. Whitney is a lifelong lacrosse player and coach who will bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to this camp.
Whitney grew up on Long Island, NY, where she picked up her first lacrosse stick at the young age of 8. A four-year varsity letter winner in high school, Whitney went on to play college lacrosse at NCAA Division III powerhouse Trinity College in Hartford, CT. A graduate in 1994, Coach Hanley lettered each of her four seasons for the Bantams.
On the coaching side, Whitney has been at the helm of Marin Catholic since 2001. In her eight previous seasons, Coach Hanley has led her squad to the Marin County Athletic League Championship an astounding six times, with the 2003 team claiming the league title. Most recently, Whitney led the 2008 team to the North Coast Section Qualifier, where Marin Catholic finished 12th out of 50 Northern California teams.
