This clinics provides tremendous technical instruction.

Any coach will tell you that shooting the ball well will win games. Just like practicing stick skills against the wall, every offensive player should get a bucket of balls and practice firing shots on goal as often as possible. Unfortunately, lacrosse players don't always have an instructor to teach proper technique, a goal to shoot on, tons of balls to shoot with, nor a goalie to shoot against. The GameBreaker Shooting Clinics provide each player with this great opportunity. Each camper will take hundreds of different shots on goalies, while getting specific instruction on the proper technique. Don't miss out on this awesome opportunity to become a lethal scorer!

The Goalie position is often considered the most vital position on the field. It is a highly specialized position that requires a specific set of skills. Because of this, it is imperative that goalies receive individual attention. The GameBreaker Goalie Clinics provide each goalie with intensive instruction that will help improve their games both physically and mentally. Don't miss this unique opportunity to become a great goalie!

Laurie Anthony, Head Coach at Kings College (PA), will be directing this popular GameBreaker Shooting Clinic.

A 2006 graduate of Drew University, Anthony was a four-year varsity player in both soccer and lacrosse. In lacrosse, she was named to the All-Middle Atlantic Conference team in 2005 and 2006 while earning IWLCA Regional All-American honors both seasons. Additionally, she was selected to play in the 2006 IWLCA North-South Senior All-Star Game. Anthony was twice named the Middle Atlantic Conference “Player of the Week”. As a sophomore, she helped Drew to a Middle Atlantic Conference lacrosse championship in 2005 along with an Eastern College Athletic Conference title in 2004.

Anthony earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Drew in 2006 with degree in Political Science while adding a minor in Women’s Studies. She was a two-time member of the Dean’s List and earned the Drew Recognition Award all four years. She was also a member of the Drew Student-Athlete Advisory Committee during the 2005-06 year. Coach Anthony has also taught lacrosse and soccer at numerous camps and clinics since 2002.

Coach Anthony came to King’s in 2007 after spending the previous year as the head lacrosse coach, physical education teacher, and personal health and safety education teacher at Haileybury College, a private school in Hertford Heath, England. She directed the lacrosse program, teaching the sport to girls ranging from 11-to-18 years of age, coaching three teams in the process.
