Chris Smeader, Assistant Coach at Brandywine High School will direct this camp. Chris has a strong background in coaching as well as camp instruction. Chris started his coaching career at Edgewood High School in Maryland, then moved on to the college ranks, coaching at Hartford Community College. After Hartford, Chris coached three years at Aberdeen High School in Maryland before coming to Brandywine, where he has been for the last nine years. In 2005 he was honored and named the Delaware Varsity Assistant Coach of the Year. Chris has also directed both the Aberdeen Summer Lacrosse Camp as well as the Brandywine School District Lacrosse Camp.
Joining Chris on staff will be Tom "Squatty" Nelson:
A 1977 graduate of Towson University, Tom was a contributing member Towson’s 1974 National Championship lacrosse team and a 1976 Lacrosse All-American. Tom was a 2004 inductee into Towson University’s Athletic Hall of Fame. He has been In the education and coaching fields for the last twenty-six years, the last thirteen have been in Harford County, Maryland. He is currently teaching and coaching football and lacrosse at Fallston High School.
