Directing this GameBreaker Lacrosse Camp is Aricka Ward, Assistant Coach at Florida Southern Conference.
Aricka Ward has joined the FSC women's lacrosse staff as a volunteer assistant coach under head coach Kara Reber.
Ward played women's lacrosse for four seasons (2005-08) at Limestone College (S.C.) and was a member of two NCAA Division II semifinal teams (2006 & 2008). Limestone was 60-15 in her four-year career. She played in 33 games as an attacker in her career, scoring 15 goals and delivering eight assists.
Following her collegiate career, she was named head women's lacrosse coach at Ridge View High School in her home town of Columbia, S.C., and took her team to the state tournament for the first time in five years.
Last year she worked as an assistant coach with the University of South Florida's women's club team.
The women's lacrosse program will begin competition in the 2011-12 school year.
She is the wife of FSC men's lacrosse head coach Marty Ward.
