Episcopal High School Head Coach Ed Egan returns to direct this GameBreaker Lacrosse Camp. Ed Egan comes to Jacksonville and Episcopal from New England where he has spent the past seven seasons coaching at the prestigious Massachusetts Maritime Academy, a NCAA Division III Pilgrim League program, located in Cape Cod, MA. Egan coached Mass Maritime to a Pilgrim League playoff berth in 2003 and was a New England College "Coach of the Year" nominee in 2004. Egan also coached the East squad in the New England East-West Senior All-Star game for two seasons, coaching a mix of seniors from all NCAA Divisions.
Prior to his time at Mass Maritime, Egan was the first assistant at the Division I Lafayette College (Easton, PA) for two seasons, coaching three All-American players to some of Lafayette's most successful seasons.
Coach Egan's coaching career started in youth lacrosse in Pennsylvania in 1992 where he started the Emmaus Youth Lacrosse program, the first of its kind in Eastern PA, in which it has now grown to 20 community sponsored teams throughout the Lehigh Valley. Egan also founded and helped to coach the Emmaus High School boys team to a Penn Valley League championship.
Ed Egan was a player himself at Lehigh University from 1974-1976 and graduated in 1977. Ed has been directing lacrosse camps for over 20 years and looks forward to sharing his knowledge with the up and coming players in Florida this summer.
