Nolan Godfrey is a decorated coach and player in the lacrosse community, and recently took the helm at St. Andrew's Episcopal School in Austin, TX.  Godfrey comes to St. Andrew’s on the heels of a playing and coaching career in North America and Europe. He comes most recently from Billerica High School in Massachusetts, where he helped lead the boys’ lacrosse team to the Division 1 state final in 2008.

Godfrey was an NCAA All-American midfielder and faceoff specialist at Merrimack College, leading the Warriors to the Northeast-10 Conference championship game his final year. He also collected All-Academic, first team All-Conference, and All-New England honors. He led the nation in ground balls and was second nationally in faceoff wins in his last campaign.

Following a stellar collegiate career, Godfrey broke into the professional ranks when selected in the National Lacrosse League entry draft by the Buffalo Bandits. He was later a first-round selection of the world champion Philadelphia Barrage in the Major League Lacrosse (MLL) supplemental draft. He also has experience in the Boston Cannons organization of MLL.

Having a preference for indoor box lacrosse, Godfrey has played three seasons in Canada, most recently at the Senior-A level for the Nanaimo Timbermen of the Western Lacrosse Association in British Columbia. He was named to the Team USA indoor developmental team in 2008 and competed at the Warriors Cup in Ontario.

In addition to operating two national lacrosse camp companies, Godfrey has toured Europe, coaching the last two summers in Spain, Italy, Holland, Switzerland, Scotland, and Finland. His other coaching appointments include work as an assistant coach at Saint Anselm College (NCAA Division II) and founding two Massachusetts high school programs, at Central Catholic High School and Haverhill High School.
