“I just wanted to thank the staff for a great week of lacrosse.  I feel so much better prepared for the summer tournament I have coming up.  The staff really went out of their way to help us get better.  See you next year.”

University of Hartford Head Coach Peter Lawrence will direct this GameBreaker Lacrosse Camp.  Peter is in his fourth year at the helm of the Division I program after a stint as Head Coach of Elmira College.  In his last year at Elmira, he posted a record of 8-6 while competing in one of Division III’s toughest conferences.  During his stay at the school, he coached five players who are now playing professionally in the NLL.

Coach Lawrence began his coaching career as an assistant at Whittier College, where he directed the Poets' defense in their first two seasons of NCAA competition. He spent one season as an assistant for the club team at the University of New Hampshire, guiding the Wildcats to a Pioneer League Championship and a berth in the national tournament.

A standout player at Roanoke College, Peter led the Maroons to three straight NCAA Division III Tournament appearances. After earning All-American honors twice, as well as recognition as the 1998 Old Dominion Athletic Conference Player of the Year, he was drafted by the MLL's Bridgeport Barrage in the league's inaugural season (2001).

He graduated from Roanoke College in 1998 with a bachelor's degree in health and physical education.  Peter lives in West Hartford, CT with his wife and two children.

Peter is very excited to direct this Georgia summer lacrosse camp!
