Western Connecticut Head Coach Jason Ouellet will direct this camp. Jason is in his fifth year at the helm of the Colonials after serving as assistant coach for two seasons. In 2008 he was voted little east Coach of the Year. The Colonials won the conference and made their first appearance in the NCAA tournament.
Prior to arriving in Danbury, Coach Ouellet served as an assistant coach at Yale University. He played his collegiate lacrosse at traditional powerhouse Hobart College. During his senior year, Jason was named Team Captain, and appeared in the North-South All-Star Game. He was also elected twice to the Patriot League’s All-Conference squad.
Jason is also the Head Coach of the CT Cardinals U-18 team, the state's elite club travel team.
A Connecticut native, Jason attended Avon Old Farms School, where he played lacrosse and hockey. He was selected to the All-American team and All-Founder’s League team during his senior year.
Jason looks forward to working with the next generation of lacrosse players and helping the sport continue to grow in the region.
