Maryland native Kate Leavell will direct this GameBreaker Lacrosse Camp. Kate grew up in the lacrosse hotbed of Severna Park before attending the University of Maryland . After graduation, she settled in Minnesota where she has become a sought after coach and camp clinician. Kate is currently the Head Coach at Lakeville High School as well as the Co-Head Coach of the MN Elite U17 squad. She has coached and directed numerous summer league tournaments and camps, and was the girls’ director for the Lax Loons Winter League. Kate comes from a great lacrosse family as her father played for Cornell and her brother plays for Maryland . She is looking to share her passion and lacrosse talent with the next generation of lacrosse players. Kate is very excited to direct this Minnesota summer lacrosse camp.
Joining Kate on this staff will be:
Linda Hokr Assistant Varsity coach at The Blake School will be assisting Kate at camp this summer. Last year Linda helped Blake to win the 2010 MN state championship. Prior to joining the coaching staff at Blake, Linda was Co-Head Coach at Robbinsdale Coppoer HS, Head Coach at Armstrong Cooper Youth and Head Coach at Maple Grove Youth. Hokr is a graduate of University of Minnesota Duluth, where she was a stand out player for the club lacrosse team. Linda was elected captain her senior year, and led her team to UMWLL Championships in 2005 and 2006.
