GameBreaker's longest running boys camp in Missouri!

This GameBreaker Lacrosse camp at Rockhurst University will be directed by Ryan Martin.

Ryan Martin steps in for his first season at the helm of the Oswego State men's lacrosse program for the 2011 season.

Martin joins the Lakers after having served as the assistant coach at Nazareth College for the past four seasons. The Amherst, Mass. native served as defensive and recruiting coordinator for the Golden Flyers as well as film coordinator. His efforts helped Nazareth capture the Empire 8 Championship and receive trips to the NCAA Division III Tournament in 2007 and 2009 and an ECAC Championship in 2008. In four seasons with the Golden Flyers, Martin worked with eight USILA All-Americans, two Empire 8 Conference Players of the Year, and four USILA Scholar All-Americans. In addition to his coaching responsibilities, he served as the Nazareth intramural director.

Prior to joining the coaching staff at Nazareth, Martin had stints as an assistant coach at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute for the 2006 season and Hampden-Sydney College for the 2005 season. He was responsible for working with goalies and defense at both institutions, while also serving as the recruiting coordinator at RPI. Martin also served as the interim head coach at RPI during the summer of 2006, continuing the recruiting process and communicating with incoming freshmen and potential recruits.

Martin is an active clinician for Gamebreaker Lacrosse Camps for boys age 12-18 in New Jersey, Massachusetts, New York, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, and Georgia during the summer months. He has assessed individual players and developed training sessions and individualized training regimens for campers.

As a player, Martin was a standout at Ithaca College where he played three seasons in goal for the Bombers and acted as team captain for two of those years. Martin earned All-America honors in 2002 and 2003 and was recognized as the Empire 8 Conference Player of the Year in 2002.

Martin graduated from Ithaca in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and received his Master's degree in Business Administration from Nazareth in June 2010.
