Katelyn Martin, Head Coach at The Shipley School, will direct these girls GameBreaker Lacrosse Camps.
After graduating from Downingtown High School, Katelyn Martin went on to play at West Chester University. In her first year Katelyn was Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Rookie of the Year. A three-time All-American Selection, Katelyn helped her team to win 3 conference championships and advance to 3 NCAA Division II National Championship games where she was selected to the all-tournament team each year. Katelyn holds the NCAA Division II record for scoring eleven goals in one game in 2005 and led the NCAA in goals the following year with 119.
Katelyn broke and currently holds numerous scoring records including WCU, Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference, and NCAA Division II records for goals and points in a career, at 289 and 365 respectively. Among many honors in four years, Katelyn received PSAC conference championship MVP awards in 2005 and 2006, as well as PSAC Lacrosse Athlete of the Year, IWLCA National Division II Midfield Player of the Year, and Philadelphia Inquirer Academic All-Area Performer of the Year in 2006.
Since graduation Katelyn has continued to play lacrosse on a Philadelphia club team, helps coach camps and clinics throughout the year, and is now in her 2nd year as Head Coach of the Shipley School. In 2011 she led the team to an undefeated regular season, finishing first in the Friends School League.
