Lindsay is a graduate of James Madison University, where she was an all-Conference defender. While at JMU, she captained the women's lacrosse team for two seasons, including the 1997 CAA Championship team. Coach Mulhern also served as the assistant coach to the undefeated United States Under-19 Women's lacrosse team; in 2003 and 2007, the United States U-19 team won the gold medal in the World Cup. A native of Haverford, she hails from a great lacrosse family as her sister Kristen is the Women's Head Coach at Duke University. Lindsay is married with two children and is an English teacher at the Hill School.
