This camp will be directed by Yale University Assistant Coach Clarissa Clarke. A former Yale standout, Clarissa is in her fifth season with the Bulldogs. Clarissa prides herself on providing a fun camp experience for all campers regardless of age or ability, and hiring some of the best college players and coaches in the game. Salve Regina camp also offers a goalie specific coach, Laura Field. Laura was an All-Ivy and All-American goalie at Princeton University graduating in 2000, and is currently the head women's lacrosse coach at Yale.
Clarissa played collegiately for Yale, where she was the Team Captain and a Regional All-American. During her career there, Clarissa helped lead the squad to the NCAA Tournament. She also earned second team All-Ivy honors and ended her career fifth on Yale's career goals scored list with 114 goals. Clarissa's experience and infectious enthusiasm for teaching lacrosse makes her a great camp director.
Clarissa is also a co-director of a club lacrosse program in Connecticut, Nor'easter Lacrosse. Nor'easter Lacrosse is in its third season, and throughout the last three years the program has helped develop players year round, giving them an opportunity to be seen and recruited by college lacrosse coaches.
