First year Assistant coach at Limestone College, Mat Faas, will be directing the girl's Furman University camp this summer. Before coming to Limestone College, Faas served as an assistant coach at St. Bonaventure University (NY) for the 2006-07 season, where he coached six Atlantic 10 All-Conference players, including an Offensive Player of the Year and two All-Region players. In 2007, Faas helped the Bonnies finish third in the conference while making their second straight Atlantic 10 tournament appearance.

A 2003 Graduate of Nazareth College, Faas earned his Bachelor’s degree in political science while obtaining his teaching certification. Upon graduating from Nazareth College, he worked as a ninth grade global studies teacher while coaching high school basketball and lacrosse for three years.

A native of West Henrietta, N.Y., Faas has been involved in working various lacrosse camps and clinics throughout the country. He most recently coached the Under-19 Haudenosaunee women’s team at the 2007 World Championships held in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada.

Erin DeSantis- Assistant Coach for the Limestone College. DeSantis played four years at Oneonta State University as her team advanced to the conference championship two of her four years there. She began her coaching career instructing at camps and clinics throughout New York State. Coach DeSantis serves as a director for the Baggataway Lacrosse Camps as well as instructs at numerous camp along the east coast.

Kate Faas- Junior Attacker at the University of Maryland. Faas transferred to Maryland from St. Bonaventure University (NY) where she led her team in goals in which she had 10 hat tricks, including seven games of at least four goals. In her sophomore year at St. Bonaventure, she was named Atlantic 10 Co-Offensive Player of the Year and All-Conference first team.
