| Check back in 2009!!! Andrew Stanley, Head Coach at The Collegiate School in Richmond, will direct this GameBreaker Lacrosse Camp. Coach Stanley has been the Head Boys’ Varsity Lacrosse Coach since 2005. He has been coaching lacrosse and running lacrosse camps since 1996.
In 2006 he was named the Prep League Coach of the Year as he helped guide Collegiate to its’ second consecutive Prep League Championship and the VISAA State Championship.
Andrew has worked with Geronimo Lacrosse since 1996, serving as the Pathfinder Program Leader since 1998 and as the Executive Director since 2001. In 2005 Andrew was trained as a CEP Level 1 Trainer by US Lacrosse and currently holds a Level 1 Coaching Certification through US Lacrosse.
Andrew played high school lacrosse in Baltimore for the Gilman School. He played college lacrosse at Randolph- Macon College where he served as a captain and was a member of the school’s first nationally ranked team. After graduating from college Coach Stanley played for a number of teams in the Central Atlantic Lacrosse League.
Andrew has coached middle school football at Collegiate since 1997. In addition to coaching lacrosse and football, Andrew is the Director of Summer Quest Sports. He taught in the Collegiate Lower School from
1996-2002 and is currently is a 5th Grade Math Teacher and the Associate Director of Admission.
James Daras, Head Coach at Fredericksburg Academy, will be the Assistant Director for the St. Margaret's camp. Coach Daras attended, Anne Arundel Community College and the University of Maryland. With over thirty years of experience as a player and a coach, he has also coached at a number of camps and clinics throughout the country. Daras was also a memeber of the 2005/2006 grandmasters World Lacrosse Games, Silver Medalist (Team Toyota). Coach Daras is very passionate about the game of lacrosse and looks foward to bringing that passion to St. Margeret's camp.
Coach Stanley and Coach Daras will be joined on staff by top high school coaches from Maryland, D.C. and Virginia, as well as current college players. This energetic staff looks forward to developing the next generation of lacrosse players.
